BNI-AM Collaborates with BTPN to Expand Channel distribution Index Mutual Fund

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - PT BNI Asset Management (BNI-AM) announced a collaboration with PT Bank BTPN Tbk. (BTPN) or SMBC Indonesia on October 9, 2024. This collaboration is in the form of selling mutual funds through the SMBC Indonesia network as a Mutual Fund Selling Agent (APERD) to expand the distribution network of BNI-AM Mutual Fund products, especially index mutual funds in Indonesia.
The launching event of the collaboration was marked by the signing of an MoU by Plt. President Director of BNI AM Ade Yusriansyah and Deputy President Director of SMBC Indonesia Darmadi Sutanto at the SEAI Restaurant, Menara Astra Jakarta (9/10/2024).
Plt. President Director of BNI AM, Ade Yusriansyah said that this collaboration is expected to become a mutually beneficial business synergy for both parties and especially provide financial benefits and solutions for SMBC Indonesia customers.
BNI-AM also added 9 mutual funds to the Jenius product line. Namely, 1 money market mutual fund (BNI-AM Dana Likuid), 2 fixed income mutual funds (BNI-AM Teakwood and BNI-AM Ardhani Pendapatan Tetap Syariah) and 6 index mutual funds (BNI-AM Indeks IDX30 (BNI30), BNI-AM IDX Growth 30, BNI-AM SRI-KEHATI Class R1, BNI-AM IDX - PEFINDO Prime Bank Class R1, BNI-AM PEFINDO i-Grade Class R1, BNI-AM IDX High Dividend 20.
BNI-AM Investment Director Putut E. Andanawarih said that this was due to the increasing interest of retail investors in stock index-based mutual fund investment instruments and fixed income mutual funds, especially in Indonesia.
"Especially in the era of the downward interest rate trend, PWC even predicts that the AUM of passive mutual funds in the US will continue to grow by 44 - 58% until 2030," said Putut.
BNI-AM currently has various flagship products in the form of money market mutual funds, fixed income mutual funds, stock mutual funds, mixed mutual funds, ETF mutual funds and index mutual funds known as "BNI-AM Family of Index Fund". "BNI-AM Family of Index Fund" consists of 8 index mutual funds that have various characteristics according to the various preferences of different customers.
BNI-AM index mutual funds are created in collaboration with leading index providers such as IDX, PEFINDO and Yayasan KEHATI. Of the 8 (eight) index mutual funds members of "BNI-AM Family of Index Fund" owned by BNI-AM, 6 of them are already available on all SMBC Indonesia sales channels.
