BNI AM Collaborates with Bibit to Hold Financial Literacy and Inclusion Jakarta – In order to enliven the Financial Inclusion Month (BIK) program initiated by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), PT BNI Asset Management (BNI AM) together with Bibit as a fintech partner held a financial literacy and inclusion activity in Medan.
On this occasion, BNI Asset Management and Bibit encouraged the people of Medan to be more active in managing their finances, to be literate in investing in the capital market, especially BNI Asset Management Mutual Funds by using the Bibit application.
"By increasing public awareness of digitalization services, it is hoped that the public will be more enthusiastic about investing in BNI Asset Management products through the Bibit Application," said Head of Investment and Research Division BNI AM, Yekti Dewanti in an official statement quoted on October 28, 2024.
Furthermore, Yekti said that investors certainly have high hopes for the Red and White Cabinet formed by President Prabowo Subianto to support the Indonesian economy.
In addition to the domestic economy, he also discussed macroeconomics by reminding investors present to be aware of the impact of falling US interest rates, falling Chinese interest rates, the United States (US) election, and geopolitical conflicts.
"As a solution to the turmoil that is currently occurring both domestically and abroad, investors can take anticipatory steps by diversifying their investments into mutual fund products," he added.
Meanwhile, this educational activity is in line with the OJK's National Financial Intelligence Movement (Gencarkan) program which is expected to become a routine agenda every year with the aim of increasing the financial literacy of the younger generation.
"With better literacy, the public is expected to be able to make the right financial decisions and avoid financial crimes that have been increasingly rampant lately," concluded Yekti. (*)
