BNI Asset Management Collaborates with UNPAD to Launch Endowment Fund Mutual Funds

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. In expanding investment penetration, PT BNI Asset Management collaborated with PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BNI) and Padjadjaran University Bandung to launch the BNI-AM Teakwood Fixed Income mutual fund Kelas UNPAD Idaman.

Well, this investment product is expected to be an innovative funding solution for Padjadjaran University (UNPAD), while also providing attractive investment opportunities for the community. The launch of this product took place at Bale Sawala, Padjadjaran University Rectorate Building, Jatinangor, Bandung, Saturday (22/2/2025). Also present were UNPAD Chancellor Prof. Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita, BNI Group Directors, and BNI Asset Management President Director Ari Adil.

Ari said that the presence of the BNI-AM UNPAD Idaman mutual fund endowment fund product is a manifestation of BNI Asset Management's commitment to supporting the world of education, especially Higher Education in Indonesia. Later, the funds collected from this mutual fund can be used by universities to support educational facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, investors can enjoy the results of their investment development without having to prepare a large amount of funds.

"This mutual fund has a composition of 80% to 100% in debt securities, and a minimum of 0% - 20% in money market instruments or deposits," said Ari from a release received by KONTAN, Saturday (22/2). To participate in this mutual fund, investors can invest starting from IDR 10,000 through BNI Asset Management sales agent partners.

He continued, Ari believes that this mutual fund will be an attractive investment option for investors, especially alumni and academics of UNPAD. With the increasing Asset Under Management (AUM) of this mutual fund, its contribution to supporting UNPAD facilities and infrastructure will also be greater.

Through cooperation with UNPAD, the BNI-AM Endowment Fund Mutual Fund investment ecosystem is expanding, which now includes four universities and one social philanthropic institution. Similar products are also available at Universitas Gadjah Mada through BNI-AM UGM Progressive Balanced, Universitas Indonesia through BNI-AM Makara Investasi, Institut Teknologi Bandung through BNI-AM ITB Harmoni, and the social philanthropy institution Dompet Dhuafa through the BNI-AM Dana Dompet Dhuafa Mutual Fund.
