UNPAD Collaborates with BNI Asset Management for Investment Products as Funding Solutions

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG --University of Padjajaran (Unpad) Bandung, is committed to continuing to develop infrastructure and help its underprivileged students. Because, according to Unpad Rector Prof. Dr. Arief Sjamsul Aksan Kartasasmita, currently there are 40 thousand Unpad students, around 30 percent of whom are underprivileged.
One of the efforts to realize this commitment, Unpad has collaborated with BNI Asset Management, launching the BNI-AM Teakwood Class Unpad Idaman Fixed Income Mutual Fund. This investment product is expected to be an innovative funding solution for Unpad while providing attractive investment opportunities for the community.
"Alumni invest, we have land. Why not invest alumni. This is very good," he said.
Meanwhile, according to the President Director of BNI Asset Management, Ari Adil, the endowment fund product BNI-AM Unpad Idaman Mutual Fund is a manifestation of BNI-AM's commitment to supporting the world of education, especially Higher Education in Indonesia.
The funds collected from this Mutual Fund, he said, can be used by Universities to support educational infrastructure. As for investors, they can enjoy the results of their investment development without having to prepare a large amount of funds.
"This Mutual Fund has a composition of 80 percent to 100 percent in debt instruments, and a minimum of 0 - 20 percent in money market instruments or deposits. To participate in this mutual fund, investors can invest starting from IDR 10,000 through BNI-AM sales agent partners," said Ari Adil.
This mutual fund, he said, will be an attractive investment option for investors, especially alumni and Unpad academics. "With the increasing Asset Under Management (AUM) of this mutual fund, its contribution to supporting Unpad facilities and infrastructure will also be greater," he said.
Through cooperation with Unpad, he said, the BNI-AM Endowment Fund Mutual Fund investment ecosystem will be further expanded, which now includes four universities and one social philanthropic institution.
