BNI Asset Management Records Managed Funds of IDR 25.94 Trillion until April 2024

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT BNI Asset Management (BNI AM) said that the total assets under management (AUM) until April 2024 had reached IDR 25.94 trillion with investment units of 24.88 billion units. This value is equivalent to 76.29% of the company's annual target of IDR 34 trillion this year.
BNI AM Operational Director, Ade Yusriansyah, said that this number had decreased compared to the acquisition in the same period last year. Even so, he is optimistic that his party can still achieve the AUM growth target this year, because institutional investors often increase the value of their investments at the end of the year.
"If you look at history, actually incidents like this have happened in almost the same three years. Most of our institutional clients redeem between April, May and September, taking profits there. "But at the end of October or November until the end of the year, we were still growing 1%-2% above the contracted market," said Ade to Kontan.co.id, Tuesday (21/5).
Ade admits that there are many challenges to achieving the AUM target of IDR 34 trillion this year, one of which is the strategy in mixing mutual fund portfolios. So far BNI AM is still focused on marketing index and fixed income mutual fund products.
For this reason, Ade said, to be able to achieve this target, BNI AM continues to strive to increase its product portfolio. Most recently, BNI AM launched BNI-AM IDX – Pefindo Prime Bank.
"As for the product with Pefindo, we are targeting an AUM of IDR 100 billion," he added.
This product collaborates with Pefindo, while adding to its portfolio with this rating agency. Previously, BNI AM had a joint product, namely BNI-AM Pefindo I-Grade.
For your information, overall, BNI AM has eight index mutual fund products, including the BNI-AM Short Duration Bonds Index Fixed Income Mutual Fund, BNI-AM High Dividend20, BNI-AM Sri Kehati, BNI-AM Growth Index (BNI30G) and BNI -AM IDX30 Index (BNI30).
